What does SHARP Fleet specialize in?
Middle-mile freight for Amazon: moving freight between hubs and stations so last-mile delivery can happen on time.
What positions are available?
We're hiring Class A CDL company drivers (W-2) for three schedules: Solo 5 (5 days out, 2 home), Solo 2 (regional, home every other day) and Solo 1 (local, home daily). Solo driving only.
How much does the job pay?
Solo 1 pays $24/hour ($55,000 to $80,000+ a year) and Solo 2 pays $25/hour ($55,000 to $75,000+ a year), both with time and a half over 40 hours. Solo 5 is a guaranteed $1,800 weekly salary ($80,000+ a year). Pay is weekly, every Friday, by direct deposit.
What qualifications do I need?
You must be 21 or older with a Class A CDL and at least 6 months of experience (recent graduates are considered case by case), no more than 2 moving violations or 1 preventable accident in 3 years, and live within 45 minutes of our Allentown, PA or Bordentown, NJ yard.
Do you provide training?
Yes. After orientation you'll complete 2 days of training, paid at $150 a day.
What is the hiring process?
We set up an interview, start your background check through Amazon Relay, then you complete your application and a drug screen, attend orientation and finish 2 days of training before starting your full schedule. We usually reach out within 1 to 2 days of applying.
How long until I can start?
It mostly depends on your background check, which covers the past seven years. Most clear within two weeks, and finishing your application, drug screen and Clearinghouse steps quickly speeds things up.
What benefits do you offer?

Do you hire SAP drivers?
Yes. SAP candidates are welcome but must have all paperwork and their counselor's contact information ready before onboarding.
Where are you located?
Our yards are at 1132 N Irving Street in Allentown, PA and 1092 US 206 in Bordentown, NJ. We run freight across PA, NJ, NY, MD, DE, VA, MA, NH, CT, ME, OH and KY.
What schedules do you have?
Schedules are typically fixed based on the position available: Solo 1 : Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat. Solo 2: Sun-Wed or Thur-Sun Solo 5 : Sun-Thur or Mon-Fri PT is available as well
